Ways to "Be Conscious"


  • When you go out to eat start being conscious about what you eat when you go out. Don’t get that huge cheeseburger with French fries. Maybe try the fish or salad or even the cheeseburger with no bun and a healthier substitute for the French fries.

  • So you order the burger and French fries but couldn’t finish it all. The first reaction is to take it home. DON”T! Leave it. You don’t need the second half. You enjoyed the meal. No need to try and enjoy it twice.

  • Its Friday night and its time to hit the town and have some drinks. First try a lighter beer that is not as many calories. My favorite is vodka with water and lemon, or flavored vodka with a lemon. With the vodka and water it is less calories and keeps you hydrated throughout the night. A shot of vodka is already 99 calories. If you add all the juices, each drink could be over 200 calories. By the time you get to three drinks you have already drank a meal. Be a little more conscious

  • Think about it: I love to eat but I can eat more if I am eating healthy then if I eat like crap. I can have two times the food in one day then I would be able to if I ate crap like Mc Donald’s. One meal at Mc Donald’s would cover lunch and two snacks. NO THANK YOU! I want my meal and my snacks! A McDouble, medium fry, small drink is 900 calories and way to much fat, carbs. Blows my mind! But over a course of a few months it still doesn’t mold maybe it’s the new “food trend”.
